Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Master’s Degree in Political Science with 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
- 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer) and Differently-abled candidates.
NET/PhD Requirement
- Candidates must have cleared UGC-NET/SLET/SET OR
- Hold a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC Regulations (2009/2016).
- Candidates registered for Ph.D. before 11th July 2009 are exempted from NET/SLET/SET if certain conditions are fulfilled.
Age Limit
- As per Government of Meghalaya notification.
Desirable Qualifications
- Teaching experience in recognized institutions.
- Specialization/research in Indian Political System and Politics of Northeast India.
- Publications in reputed journals/books.
- Research projects, surveys, collaborations.
