Eligibility Criteria (as on 01 September 2025)
Nationality
- Indian citizen, or subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or Tibetan refugee (arrived before 01.01.1962), or PIO from specified countries with eligibility certificate.
Age Limit
- Office Assistant: 18–28 years
- Officer Scale I: 18–30 years
- Officer Scale II: 21–32 years
- Officer Scale III: 21–40 years
Upper‑age relaxations: SC/ST – 5 yrs; OBC (NCL) – 3 yrs; PwBD – 10 yrs; Ex‑SM and others as per rules.
Educational Qualification
- Office Assistant: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; proficiency in local language of the RRB; computer knowledge preferred.
- Officer Scale I: Bachelor’s degree (any discipline). Preference for specific subjects as per RRB requirements; local language proficiency required.
- Officer Scale II (GBO): Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks + 2 years experience in a bank/financial institution.
Officer Scale II (Specialist):

- Office Assistant: Prelims → Mains (No interview)
