Eligibility Criteria

Citizenship

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen as defined in the Constitution of India.

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025)

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 40 years
  • Age Relaxation:
    SC/ST: 5 years,
    OBC/MOBC: 3 years,
    PwBD: 10 years,
    Ex-Servicemen: 2 years

Educational Qualification

  • HSLC or equivalent examination passed.
  • Must have NAC/NTC (National Apprenticeship/Trade Certificate) in the relevant trade.
  • 1 year of teaching/industrial experience preferred.

Employment Exchange Registration

  • Candidates must be registered in any Employment Exchange in Assam.


Salary and Pay Scale

  • Pay Band: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000 (PB-2)
  • Grade Pay: ₹6,800
  • Other allowances as per Assam Government rules.


Selection Process

  • Written Examination (100 marks)
  • Skill Test/Practical Test (50 marks)
  • Document Verification
