Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
Candidates must have:
✔ Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB)
✔ Secured at least 50% aggregate marks
✔ Scored a minimum of 40% in each subject
2. Age Limit
✔ Candidates should be born between 1st September 2004 and 29th February 2008.
✔ Age relaxation is applicable as per Indian Navy rules.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of the following stages:
1. Shortlisting of Candidates
✔ Candidates will be shortlisted based on their 10+2 PCB marks.
2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
✔ 1.6 km run to be completed within 6 minutes and 30 seconds
✔ 20 squats (Uthak Baithak)
✔ 15 bent-knee sit-ups
3. Written Examination
✔ The exam will have 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
✔ Subjects include English, Science, Biology, and General Awareness
✔ Each section carries 25 marks
4. Medical Examination
✔ Candidates must meet the medical standards set by the Indian Navy.
Salary & Benefits
📌 During Training: ₹14,600 per month
📌 After Training: ₹21,700 – ₹68,100 per month (as per Level 3 of Defence Pay Matrix)
