AIIMS Guwahati Recruitment 2025 Notification Out: For Medical & Non-Medical Vacancy
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Guwahati is inviting applications for the following positions under an extramural research project funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR):
Sl No. 1
- Name of Post: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)
- Number of Posts: 1
- First Class Post Graduate Degree in Public Health, Psychology, Social Work, or related fields.
- Alternatively, a Second Class Post Graduate Degree in the aforementioned fields with a PhD.
- At least two years of experience in research projects.
- Experience working in health sectors, community settings, or mental healthcare environments.
- Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Assamese.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience with electronic data collection.
- Oversee daily operations of the research project.
- Supervise staff involved in intervention delivery, data entry, and management.
- Manage data collection and participant follow-up.
- Coordinate intervention components with the Principal Investigator and field staff.
- Conduct project staff meetings and maintain quality control measures.
- Prepare regular project reports for ICMR.
- Oversee project budget and accounting.
- Coordinate with the institution’s technical and administrative units, and the ICMR.

- Name of Post: Project Technical Support Staff-II
- Number of Posts: 1
- 12th grade in Science.
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Engineering, or related fields.
- Five years of experience in the health sector.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office.
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and Assamese.
- Coordinate activities at health facilities.
- Administer study tools and conduct qualitative interviews alongside Project Research Scientists.
- Track and follow up with patients.
- Perform data entry and reporting.
- Participate in regular team meetings to improve model implementation.
- Manage project supplies, equipment maintenance, and indenting.
